The Road So Far

We are two thirds of the way through the 3rd year of operating the James and
Genevieve Wilson Foundation. It has been a wonderful experience for me.
The family has embraced the project and we have found support from friends
which has allowed us to increase our ability to support children and adults
on the Autism Spectrum to chase their own dreams and experience achievement
that might have otherwise been out of reach.
So far, we have participated with expansion of educational facilities,
helped to build a greenhouse, assisted in education in the arts, helped an
athlete achieve beyond her expectations and allowed a young man to discover
more about his heritage through travel. We are proud of what we have done
in a short time but are now motivated to do more.
For me, the Foundation has provided a way to stay connected to the legacy of
my parents. Every time we have chosen a cause to support, I have been able
to look at it through their eyes and know that they would have been happy to
see the opportunity their family had provided to someone who might not
normally have that chance. It has also been fun to introduce other people
that never had the chance to know them to 2 of the kindest, most generous
souls to ever occupy the planet.
Thanks to those who have supported our efforts thus far. Please stay on the
journey with us. For those looking at us for the first time, please help us
if you are able and tell those who might know a worthy candidate to send us
a request for funding. Our work is just beginning.
Best,
Michael Wilson
President
